Let's Move On

The last 7 days of 100% Tottenham Hotspur media coverage has given the impression that our beloved manager, Martin Jol is down and out, and the chairman of our board has no idea what his minions are up to.
After this week of turmoil, I believe that we should forget everything that has apparently happened and move on. I know that this may sound like a pretty stupid thing
to say, but it isn't. Let me explain. If we stop judging what is going on behind the scenes and concentrate on supporting the club, our support will be amplified onto the pitch. Let's put all that has happened behind us and move on. Were you or I in the Alfonso XIII hotel? Do we care? No. Why? Because Martin Jol is our manager, and not that lying snake Ramos. If anything, he's milking the story so as to get a better contract out of Seville. Firstly denying that he met anyone from Spurs, then stating that he was offered a bumper contract by the people he never met. He sounds like a bloody politician. Next he'll tell us that a plane flew into the Pentagon.
Our chairman, Daniel Levy, made a statement yesterday (Daniel Levy's statement) that many tabloids are claiming to be a "vote of confidence".
It's anything but that. If you are to read the comments he made carefully, you can see that he is fully behind Martin Jol, and not making sneer comments with a view to replacing him in the very near future. We've also been spoon fed that Levy is furious at the comments Robbo made. I find it hard to believe that Levy would make such a comment to the press. Maybe he made his thoughts clear to our captain, Ledley King, and asked him to pass the message onto the players that the board are fully behind the manager.
Where can we go from here? We can either linger on what the media has been relaying to us or we can set that aside and support Tottenham Hotspur.
You decide how you want to move on from this point. I personally will be at Old Trafford on Sunday and will be supporting my team, Spurs.

Firstly, Spurs officials DID meet with Juande Ramos and secondly, the statement released by Levy IS as you might say, a dreaded vote of confidence.
The comments he made a few days ago didn't sound as though he was behind Jol.
Now that Ramos turned them down, he's fully behind his manager, isn't he?
What a twit! Cambridge degree my arse!!!
Why didn't Levy release a statment on Saturday (before Derby game), claiming that the club hadn't met with Ramos.
Didn't he understand that there would be a media frenzy surrounding all of this?
Maybe the club need to hire a PR guy/girl and sort themselves out. It's clear they have no idea what they are doing.
COYS!!!
Harry, Wood Green
Get your facts straight before commenting and writing an article.
The club did meet with Ramos and offer him a huge contract. They were going to sack Jol. They also met with other managers.
The only reason that they are releasing this bullshit to us now, is because no other manager wanted to come to us.
How can we forget what they've done? They've completely unsettled the side. God only knows what our players think and feel right now.
I wonder what Berbatov is thinking..."When will Spurs let me move to Man U?"
Does anyone know what is going on with the taylor situation. I read somewhere that the board have said no to him. Surely this can't be true ???.
Are we actually trying to buy anyone else or is the club pre occupied with this Jol/ramos mess.
Someone please give me hope because from where I am sitting the team is still very unbalanced and I can't see us competing, even Everton now are starting to look a better balanced side than us
If spurs end up with no left winger after the window shuts, then I think Comoli, Levy and Jol need a boot up the backside because everyone knows we have needed a left winger for well over 3 seasons and we still don't have one
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
So does Levy sit on his hands until we see how things go at the end of the season, or does he actively look for possible successors to avoid a panic situation in May next year?
I think Levy is right to sound out the possibilities now, in case we need a new manager,. either by Jol leaving or needing to be replaced. However, the idea was right, but the execution very poor which maybe due more to the abilities of other less responsible Board members than Levy's management.
If the details of the Ramos affair had stayed behind closed doors, Jol leads us to another winless season with the accompanying dire performances which are his current trademark, and then Levy un…
happy dayz!!
The guy is a bit of a prat in my book.
