Berbatov To Sign Within 48 Hours!
Reports are circulating that our dynamic striker, Dimitar Berbatov, will sign a contract extension within the next 48 hours.
The contract will tie him to the club until 2010/2011 season. It has also been reported that a clause will be inserted in his £44,000 a-week deal though.
The clause is believed to be a get-out if Tottenham Hotspur fail to make the Champions League in the coming 2007/2008 season.
The full details about this clause have yet to be revealed unfortunately.
We hope to bring you more news shortly.

There are a lot of people associated with the club and get angry when people write these articles without knowing any of the true facts at all. I don't know who wrote the comment at 9:51 - but they are not far from the truth. But this is the time where there is no football being played to talk about - but they are still going on about Berba.
Berba will be at WHL next season - what is in his contract, only Daniel, Damien and Berba and his agent knows.
To do that would mean that Spurs have decided after one year to go back to the player, offer him more money and weaken their own position at the same time, what that does is reduces his contracted time at the club from the next three years down to possibly one year knowing thatthe vultures are circling.
Now be serious can anyone really see Daniel Levy doing that?
Spurs are also about to sign one striker for around 16 millions, and another player for around 8 millions.
99% confirmed.
It's a principle of Berbatov that he signs improved (!)contracts only if there are clauses in them which leave open the possibility to leave for another club. Due to such a clause we were able to sign him last summer. So, don't be so naive to expect Berba will sign a new contract that could hamper his career. Be sure there will be a clause in the new contract, if there will be such at all.
What if Berbatov does not want to sign a new contract without a buy out clause? We will leave him on 22k a week? Then he will leave us next summer no matter what will happen next season.
Berbatov agreed to move to Manchester United, for 80,000 per week. The Clubs agreed Fees of 25 millions, rising to 29.(English pounds, not Euro).

Exactly the same post made at another website, under another assumed name "Sofea" something or other. Complete with faux Engliish (sic) to represent some Eastern Bloc i.e. Bulgarian connection.
Now I´ll pour scorn on this post by suggesting that whilst a Bulgarian with limited English might well know if Berba has decided Manure is going to be his new home, a Bulgarian would not have any clue who Spurs would sign to replace him, or for how much "millions, English Pounds, not Euro"...?
Will the real agent secret please stand up and respond??
I hope Berba stays. Nani looks good, but indeed looks right footed. Kader Keita also looks good, though if you only watch the first three minutes of him …
You would all laugh at most of the rubbish we receive through the lines.
The source that disclosed this information to us explained a lot more, but due to legal issues, we are not authorised to disclose any more facts.
I personally wish that there was no clause too, but I must respect our source.

To be sure, if there is a buy out clause in his new contract, no one will know about it bar Berba and Levy.
Your attempts to worry only confirm your own nervousness not to mention wishfull thinking on football matters. Personally I have only taken notice of what Levy, Jol & Berbatov's agent have been quoted as saying in the more established and reputable media. That's where gossip is treated with contept and where the truth lies. From the horses mouth. You have absolutely no chance of wiping the smug contented smile from my sappy, happy THFC face with regards to next season. See you then mug!
And the only clause there will be is Santa at chrimbo.
Sofea, secret agent, secrat santa, whoever you are......YOU ARE A TWA@T
Hope we sign Nani, boy is class. Yes he is predominantly RIGHT footed but plays LEFT wing, and is comfortable on either side.
But if ManU want him then i think he's off to old trafford.
....Hang about, isn't that what they said about Bale !!
you guys right, i sorry, i really am for to tell the lies. You see really i want job for to be in England at your, how you say, daily star, in sporting section at back of pages. This why i tell like i know the berbatov, for to get job, and benefit. You can have both here yes?
I sat with him on wimbledon common this morning and he had a bacon sandwich and a cup of tea (2 sugars).
His favourite crisps are monster munch and he likes the crust cut off his sarnies.
He also said he loves Spurs, is flattered that he is being linked with all these clubs but stated he is not intending on going anywhere and will get his dream of playing Champions League football.....at White Hart Lane.
He also said the Park Lane is his favourite stand and Martin Jol is the Don.
Things are great.
That is until after dark when some weird French peado starts cruising the common !!
Anyway he says all this Premiership talk is flattering but he is scared he´ll be found out as a fraud, with him having two right feet, though he only uses the one attached below his right knee. He says hello, and hopes Man United buy him so he can hang out round Cristiano´s house and ogle Gemma Atkinson in her PJ´s inbetween taking coaching lessons from his mate Ronaldo to correct his horrible inability to use his left peg. Peg being about all it amounts to.
At least that leaves Spurs fans with something to look forward to. A new left winger who can send crosses over to Berbs using wait for it... his left foot.
this site was and is a pile of crap.
They talk absolute shit.if its there living then god help em as they suck at it.
Heres on
I predict Dimitar Berbatov will still be Bulgarian in 48 hours.
we are amused and impressed.
how can you people think Berba is an idiot who doesn't have buy out clauses in his contract? even Nani has one! and by the way, Queiroz and Gill were in Lisbon this morning talking about Nani.Coincidence? no, one contract is connected to the other, because they all have to do with money.
Berba is leaving, unless is a half wit.
Klinsmann had the most incredible clause on his contract for every club he was in: that he was always part of the team chosen to play. All the clubs had to agree to have him. Know your club. Go and ask them.
IDIOTS!
a player of he's quality deserves to be playing champs league football.
but i can honestly say that i can see us making it this year in place of the arse.
with a settled squad already and a couple of left sided players on board we should be great.
