Cole Linked With Spurs Move

Carlton Cole, Chelsea's young striker, has emerged as a potential target for Tottenham I can reveal.

Spurs head coach, Martin Jol, tried to sign the tall forward in January, only to have his enquiry rebuffed by Chelsea.

With the ongoing feud between the two clubs over the Arnesen affair, Cole could now be used as a make-weight as Chelsea offer Spurs something in return for their Sporting Director.

Jol believes that the 21-year-old will form a superb partnership with Jermain Defoe, with the newcomer providing muscle and raw power.

It seems as though a large forward is being linked with the club every week. If the deal does materialize, then we can expect Kanoute, Mido or Keane to be on their way.
