Milan Škriniar
Tottenham Hotspur, Galatasaray, Borussia Dortmund and Aston Villa are chasing 29-year-old Slovakian defender Milan Škriniar of PSG, according to the Italian press and L'Equipe.
Luis Campos, the club's football consultant, believes that the defender has never had a real chance at the club.
What do the Slovakian media say?
They say several clubs have expressed interest in Škriniar:
Juventus Turin: Reports indicate that Škriniar has agreed to a potential move to Juventus. The Italian club is now negotiating transfer terms with PSG. Juventus aims to strengthen its defence due to injuries to key players Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal.
Sportnet (14/11/2024)Galatasaray Istanbul: Another potential destination is Galatasaray, with discussions suggesting a six-month loan deal. Former teammates Mauro Icardi and Lucas Torreira, now at Galatasaray, have reportedly encouraged Škriniar to join the Turkish club.
Sportweb (31/12/2024)Tottenham Hotspur: British media have linked Škriniar with a move to Tottenham, as the Premier League club seeks to bolster its defensive options. PSG is reportedly willing to accept a transfer fee of around €15 million (£12.57m), significantly lower than Škriniar's previous market value. The date of the report shows the Tottenham recruitment team headed by Johan Lange have been abreast of the situation.
Sportweb (21/12/2024)
Additionally, Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr has shown interest in Škriniar, submitting an official offer. However, the player's decision regarding this opportunity remains undisclosed.
Škriniar's current contract with PSG runs until June 2028.
His annual gross salary is approximately €16 million (£13.41m). A move to clubs like Juventus or Tottenham could involve a reduction in wages, considering their existing salary structures. Sportweb ().
However, other reports suggest Milan Škriniar's annual gross salary at Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is reported to be between €10 million(£8.38m) and €12 million (£10.06m), equating to approximately €192,000 (£160,922) to €230,000 (£192,771) per week.
If I use the same source as for other player wages recently it looks like the following.
