As the January transfer window unfolds, Tottenham Hotspur are actively seeking to strengthen the squad amid a challenging season marked by injuries and suspensions.

Here's a roundup of the latest transfer developments as of January 5, 2025:

1. Antonín Kinský Joins Spurs

Spurs have signed Antonín Kinský

Tottenham have secured the signing of 21-year-old Czech goalkeeper Antonín Kinský from SK Slavia Prague for approximately £13.28 million (€16.00m). I believe the £12.5 million quoted everywhere is in fact incorrect.

Kinský, who has kept 12 clean sheets in 19 games this season, is expected to fill the void left by first-choice goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario, who was sidelined due to ankle surgery. 

The widely reported deal is pending a work permit and international clearance.

2. Interest in Fikayo Tomori

Spurs are reportedly competing with Newcastle United, West Ham United, and Brentford for the signature of former Chelsea defender Fikayo Tomori. 

Currently at AC Milan, Tomori has seen limited playtime this season, making him a viable target to bolster Tottenham's injury-hit defence.

3. Potential Move for Nicolas Kuhn

Manager Ange Postecoglou is rumoured to be eyeing a reunion with Celtic's in-form forward Nicolas Kuhn. 

Kuhn has been impressive this season, contributing 14 goals and 11 assists in 25 appearances. 

However, Tottenham faces competition from several Premier League clubs and LaLiga giants Barcelona for his signature.

4. Monitoring Jack Grealish's Situation

Tottenham is keeping tabs on Manchester City's Jack Grealish, who has struggled for regular starts this season. 

A potential loan move could be on the cards, with City possibly subsidizing a portion of his substantial wages.

5. Real Madrid Eyes Micky van de Ven

Reports suggest that Real Madrid is considering a move for Tottenham's defender Micky van de Ven as part of their efforts to strengthen their backline. 

They have of course, already been linked with a move for Cristian Romero.

6. Luka Vušković's Impressive Form
