Morning once again folks and today it's some Tottenham transfer news, but before we get into that let me just touch on a point few fans even consider when baying for blood that a club hasn't signed a particular player.

Take Harry Kane and Kyle Walker. Two English players with families, with children. If Bayern Munich make you an offer and Spurs make you an offer, from a footballing point of view there is only one place to play.

But, if you think about your family, your children, their schooling, their friends, the decision to leave the country suddenly becomes a lot more difficult and it is the same for foreign players when considering whether to join Tottenham or not.

There are always factors fans are not aware of, the intelligent ones take that into consideration, the social media fan doesn't, but should.

OK, enough Spurs chat, onto some Tottenham transfer news involving Evan Ndicka, Roger Ibañez, Dejan Kulusevski, Hiroki Ito, Jonathan Tah and Jesper Lindstrøm.

Evan Ndicka

Milan and Roma have both presented contract offers to free agent Evan Ndicka, who is also in discussions with Tottenham.

The 23-year-old Ivorian defender is leaving Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer after impressing during his time in Germany.

Milan has proposed a five-year contract with a starting salary of around €3m net per season, while Roma has offered a slightly higher deal of €4m net per season. Roma is optimistic about securing Ndicka's signature and bolstering their squad under manager Jose Mourinho.

Although Tottenham has shown interest, a move to Serie A appears more probable as Ndicka's contract with Eintracht Frankfurt nears its expiry.

Roger IIbañez

Roma defender Roger Ibañez is closing in on a transfer to Tottenham Hotspur, as the club needs to generate €30m (£25.55m) before the end of the month.

Ibañez, who is under contract until 2025, has not been a consistent starter under Jose Mourinho. It is reported that Tottenham is the Premier League club in advanced negotiations for his transfer.

Roma are under pressure to sell players to meet financial obligations and avoid further penalties. The 24-year-old versatile defender, who can also play as a right-back, joined Roma from Atalanta for €9m (£7.69m) in 2021.

He has made 48 appearances this season, scoring three goals. The valuation for Ibañez has been slightly reduced to an estimated range of €25-28 million (£21.37-23.94 million).

Dejan Kulusevski

Tottenham have declined the option to purchase Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus but are reportedly close to finalizing a deal at €30m (£25.55m).

The 23-year-old Swedish international joined Spurs on loan in January 2022 with a buy option of €35m plus additional performance-related bonuses totaling €9m.

Despite the departure of coach Antonio Conte, Tottenham expressed interest in keeping Kulusevski permanently and attempted to negotiate a lower price.

According to Sportitalia and Sky Sport Italia via Football Italia, negotiations are nearing completion, and both clubs have agreed to a revised price of €30m.

Juventus, who initially signed Kulusevski from Atalanta for €35m (£29/92m) in 2020, will still make a profit considering the original €10m (£8.55m) loan fee.

While Kulusevski made a strong impact in his first season in the Premier League, his performance dipped in the second season, contributing two goals and eight assists in 37 games.

Hiroki Ito

According to a report from Japanese newspaper Sponichi, Sputs are showing interest in signing 24 year old Stuttgart defender Hiroki Ito.

The Premier League club is said to be considering a move for the left-footed center-back during the summer transfer window. Stuttgart, in turn, is in search of a suitable replacement for Ito.
The Japanese international (9 caps) started 84% of Bundesligs games last season.

I have speculated previously about players who may not fit in with the fast dynamic style that Agne Postecoglou employs and Ben Davies at 30, you would have thought, would be under threat.

Jonathan Tah

According to German tabloid Bild, Bayer Leverkusen's right-footed centre-back Jonathan Tah has a release clause of €18m (£15.39m) in his contract. The clause must be activated before the end of June.

West Ham United has shown interest in signing the German international (16 caps), while Tottenham Hotspur and several Italian clubs have also been linked to the player.

Tah, 27, who has been with Bayer Leverkusen since 2015, started 82% of his clubs Bundesliga games last season and is under contract until 2025.

The German newspaper also reported at the beginning of the month that Harry Kane had rejected a move to Bayern Munich and also report that the German giants also see former player Pierre-Emile Højbjerg as a defensive midfield option.

Jesper Lindstrøm

Bild reports that RB Leipzig's initial offer for Jesper Lindstrøm has been turned down by Eintracht Frankfurt.

The bid of €25 million (£21.37m) fell short of Eintracht's valuation, as the club is seeking a fee between €30 (£25.55m) and €40 million (£34.19m) for the right-footed centre-back.

Lindstrøm has attracted interest from other clubs as well, including Newcastle, Tottenham, Liverpool, Arsenal, and Napoli.

The 23-year-old Danish international (9caps, 1 goal) joined Frankfurt in 2021 from Brøndby IF for €7 million (£5.98m). Since then, he has made 76 appearances for the club, contributing with 14 goals and 13 assists.
