Tottenham Transfer Talk

Tottenham Transfer Talk

Spurs have tried the approach of bringing in proven winners but the players have given up under two managers playing a similar style of football so I'm sure Daniel Levy will give up on that style and appoint a more attacking-minded manager with more attractive football.

Conte told fans it would take 3 years to get Spurs into a position to challenge and that will remain the same under a new manager you'd have thought.

Spurs won't be paying €10-15m to sign Julian Nagelsmann for the sake of a few games, as per his settlement with Bayern Munich.

The club and Nagelsmann have been speaking recently, but journalists are just guessing as to why Spurs aren't signing him yet. He is free without a fee on July 1st.

Johannes Spors

According to reports from Sky Deutschland, Spurs are looking at Johannes Spors as Sporting Director this summer.

He is the global sporting director of Miami-based 777 Partners, the company that nocontrols numerous clubs around the world since acquiring Genoa Cricket and Football Club in 2021.

Paris-based  Red Star, Standard Liège (Belgium), Vasco da Gama (Brazil), Sevilla (Spain) and Melbourne Victory (Australia).

Spurs have had initial talks to see if he would be interested in joining the club, but, as yet, further, more detailed talks are yet to take place.

Kylian Mbappé is considered by many to be the best player in the world currently but sits in 3rd place in the European Golden Boot race with 24 goals.

The top ten positions:

  1. Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Tottenham Transfer Talk

Brief information about the Summer Transfer Market and Tottenham Transfer Talk leading up to the rebuilding of the club under either a new manager or a head coach.

Last summer Tottenham offered €55m (£48m) for Villarreal central defender Pau Torres but he rejected the deal and has an initial agreement to join Juventus this summer.

Kang-in Lee

With six goals and five assists so far this season, South Korean international (12 caps, 2 assists)
Kang-in Lee's talent has caught the attention of several big names in European football.

RCD Mallorca, where Lee currently plays, are eagerly anticipating a potential sale, as the international teammate of Heung-min Son had joined the club on a free transfer from Valencia in the summer of 2021.

It is anticipated that the 22-year-old (23 next February) attacking midfielder could now fetch over 20 million (17.45m) in the summer transfer market.

According to Spanish outlet AS, both Atletico Madrid (who had already shown interest in January) and Tottenham Hotspur are currently pursuing Lee.

João Palhinha

Aston Villa are reportedly eager to acquire João Palhinha from fellow Premier League side Fulham and are reportedly willing to pay a record-breaking £60m (€68.81m) to secure his services.

According to Football Insider, the Villans have already submitted an offer for the Portuguese midfielder, who will be 28 in the summer.

They are said to be optimistic about completing the deal and if the transfer went through, it would mark the highest amount ever paid by Aston Villa for a player.

The Midlands club faces tough competition from Spurs, Liverpool, Manchester United, Chelsea and Bayern Munich.

Franck Kessié

Barcelona has reportedly made the decision to part ways with midfielder Franck Kessié by June 30th.

According to Spanish outlet Sport, the Ivorian midfielder, who has had a decent season, will be notified of the club's decision after they secure the LaLiga title.

Although Tottenham has shown interest in Kessié and asked about his transfer fee, we are not alone.

Due to LaLiga financial constraints and their desire to resign Lionel Messi, Barcelona are listening to offers rather than loans.

Milan and Inter are also reportedly interested in the midfielder, and Kessié would not be opposed to returning to Milan.

However, Barcelona is hesitant as there is a lack of funds in Italian football, and the Spanish club are in need of replenishing their own coffers.

Beto

A striker Tottenham are following is Beto at Udinese, who Udinese chief scout Andrea Carnevale commented on to Italian news outlet Corriere dello Sport.

Carnevale is the head of the scouting organization not only for Udinese, but Watford and Granada (Spain). He was a striker himself who played with Diego Maradona at Napoli and alongside Roberto Baggio for the Italian national team.

"I don't know if he can be one of ours, but for Beto we refused a large sum from a big name in January. He will become very strong.

"I'm not saying that he is like Osimhen, but the characteristics are the same. He has technique, he is strong in the air, he has everything, he is perfect for a great team and I tell you this as a striker".

The Portuguese striker has scored 10 goals with one assists in 30 Serie A games.

Beto has started 64% of games, 65% of the available minutes and has been involved in 20% of goals while he has been on the field.

Rasmus Højlund

Spurs have been keeping an eye on the progress of 20-year-old (21 next February) Atalanta striker Rasmus Højlund.

The young Danish striker has been involved in 19% of Atalanta's goals scored while he has been on the field in Serie A this season.

The centre-forward has scored 5 goals in 4 international games (240 minutes).

That will do for you all today.
