In the last THBN article, I talked, at length, about Brendan Rodgers and often mentioned his talent-spotting ability, the players he had bought and the young players he had developed.
I thought I'd put some flesh on the bones for you.
- Michel Vorm to Swansea for €1.7m from FC Utrecht,
- Gylfi Sigurdsson to Swansea on loan from TSG Hoffenheim for €500,000
- Ryan Bertrand to Chelsea from Gillingham U-18 for €180,000
- Danny Rose from Tottenham on loan
- Steven Caulker from Tottenham on loan

A fee for a player in 2014 wouldn't be the same, for the same player in 2023, if age and length of contract were the same.
