Tottenham Transfer Talk

Tottenham Transfer Talk today brings you news of an inquiry Tottenham Hotspur have recently made of Juventus in Italy.

Fabio Paratici knows the Juventus players well having been sporting director there and, of course, Antonio Conte is not only Italian but managed Inter Milan recently too, thus had his pulse once again on the Italian market.

Paratici signed two players from Juventus who were struggling for first-team opportunities on a regular basis and they have been a revelation at Tottenham, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski.

Our Managing Director of Football is eyeing up another Juventus player whose contract expires in the summer.

Juventus want him to stay and are in negotiations over a new contract, but Spurs, RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt and Brighton have asked about 19-year-old (20 next October) Samuel Iling-Junior.

The young winger was formerly with Chelsea youth before moving to the Serie A side where he plays in Serie C Group A.

Obviously, having come through at Chelsea, he is homegrown, an area Spurs need to look at with better homegrown players needed at the North London club.

Iling-Junior recently played 20 minutes in the UEFA Champions League as a left-sided midfielder against Benfica and made an assist/

His entourage has asked about guaranteed employment with Juventus and where he fits in their project, probably why they threw him the carrot of first-team game time in the Champions League.

Harry Winks

Harry Winks is on loan at Sampdoria, but hasn't played for them and is still out injured with problems with his left ankle.

The Italian club will no doubt have been in touch with the Tottenham medical staff as they decide whether to continue with remedial therapy or operate on the former England international midfielder.

A consultation with an international therapist has been scheduled for Monday 7 November after which Winks will make a decision.

Surgery would mean 3-4 months on the sidelines and Spurs have indicated they would rather he remain in Genoa, although the Italians may want to cut short his loan spell in January.
