Spurs speak to Mandragora, watching Molina, Conte plans

Rolando Mandragora

Tottenham Transfer Talk

Josh Keeley

Ireland U-19 international Josh Keeley is on the verge of completing a switch to Tottenham Hotspur from FAI Cup holders St Patrick’s Athletic ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window. [Twitter - @PunditArena]

The 19-year-old (20 next May) would be out of contract in November. I understand the move is pending a medical being passed and final details being rubber-stamped.

Giorgi Mamardashvili

Another goalkeeper Spurs are following is 21-year-old (22 in September) Georgian international (2 caps) Giorgi Mamardashvili.

Tottenham have signed Fraser Forster at 6'7", well the Valencia shot stopper is 6'6" tall.

Are we trying to corner the market in huge goalkeepers?

Mamardashvili is under contract until 2024 with the option of an extra year.

Filip Kost

Sky Germany are reporting that Juventus have come in for Filip Kost and that despite telling his head coach he will stay is likely on his way to Italy.

Rolando Mandragora

Tottenham and West Ham are both interested in Juventus loanee Rolando Mandragora.

The 24-year-old (25 at the end of this month) former Inter defensive midfielder was has been loan at Torino since 1 February 2021, a day after his loan spell at Udinese ended.

Juventus had bought him in October 2020 for £13.5m and loaned him straight back.

An exclusive report in Italy says that Tottenham representatives, presumably Fabio Paratici, has met with the Italian internationals (1 cap) entourage.

Sassuolo, Bologna, Pescara and Crotone also like the midfielder but Juventus are not looking to sell him or loan him out again at the moment the report says.

Nahuel Molina

Tottenham have been watching 24-year-old (25 next April) Udinese right-back Nahuel Molina.

The Argentinian international  (15 caps, 1 assist) played in the victory over Italy in the CONMEBOL-UEFA Cup of Champions, another game for money, which Argentina won 3-0 yesterday.

He scored 7 goals and had 5 assists this season contributing to 29% of the Udinese goals scored while he was on the pitch.

Molina is also being tracked by Juventus.

Yves Bissouma

Rome are working on a deal to bring 25-year-old (26 in August) Brighton central-midfielder Yves Bissouma to the capital.
My view is that he is a little too greedy and wants to do everything himself, plus the sexual investigation doesn't make him ideal for us I think.
The Italian UEFA Conference Cup winners (a trophy we should have won) are also working on a deal for 24-year-old (25 next May) central-midfielder Douglas Luiz of Aston Villa.
Both of these Premier League players have been linked with Spurs over the last couple of months.

Rúben Neves

Barcelona head coach Xavi has asked the club to sign Wolverhampton Wanderers Portuguese defensive midfielder Rúben Neves, another player linked with Tottenham over the last couple of months.
Xavi wants the 25-year-old (26 next March) to compete with Busquets for a place.

Conte Plans

Let's finish today with what the Italian suggest Conte is looking to do at Tottenham.
We all know he wants Alessandro Bastoni alongside Eric Dier and Cristian Romero, who has helped Argentina not conceded a goal in their last 9 matches.
They suggest that Conte will have Japhet Tanganga as Romero's back-up right-sided centre-back and that Joe Rodon and Davinson Sánchez can both leave.
They go on to suggest he would consider moving Romero to the left side of the back-three if Bastoni doesn't sign and buy Milan Škriniar for the right side.
Škriniar has said he wants to stay at Inter so the other option they mention is also well known, Gleison Bremer, who Inter want to sign as Bastoni's replacement.

Enjoy your day folks, God Save The Queen.
