A Quick Tottenham Talk on Friday

Good morning folks, what a good summer it is going to be and I can't wait, as I'm sure you can't either, to see our new team on the pitch again.
Tottenham Talk on Friday or A Quick Tottenham Talk on Friday brings you titbits like revealing Sevilla are the club in for Ndombele.
€4.5 million salary – Martin Braithwaite
€10 million salary – Clement Lenglet
€11 million salary – Miralem Pjanić
€5-6 million salary – Riqui Puig
€6 million salary – Samuel Umtiti
€7 million salary – Neto Murara
- As I have revealed previously, Weston McKennie is our top midfield target and we are in discussions with Juventus to bring him to White Hart Lane land.
- The reports of Bastoni not being convinced by Tottenham are simply not true. These stories often come out when a transfer is delayed because the selling team haven't secured a replacement.
Nobody is fooled by it and the journalists who spread it are bringing their profession into disrepute and dragging down the image of journalism.
Bastoni has told Conte he is keen to come to Spurs, anything else is make believe. Circumstances can change of course but that keenness to join Tottenham doesn't.
- Cristian Romero, Rodrigo Bentancur, Dajan Kulusevski, Ivan Perišić, Weston McKennie, Alessandro Bastoni, add in Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Hugo Lloris and Eric Dier.
That just leaves a right-back, presumably Matt Doherty.
Ten we are onto squad players Fraser Forster, Ben Davies, Pierre-Emile Højbjerg, Lucas Moura, Ryan Sessegnon, Oliver Skipp and we have a fine looking squad of 17 to begin with.
- Now here is an example of why journalists are professional writers, not football experts, they are not coaches, they don't understand the game.
He writes for The Times and writes about football tactics!
- It is reported by TV3 (primary television channel of Catalan) that Barcelona are working to arrange a 2-year loan deal for French international centre-back Clément Lenglet.
Lenglet has been reluctant to leave Barcelona in previous windows but he now accepts that he needs to leave apparently. Barcelona need him tp leave as they can not register anyone to play until they do.
The 26-year-old (27 this month) left-footed French international (15 caps, 1 goal) is under contract until 2026.
Barcelona have offered him to Spurs.
Xavi has asked several players to leave the Spanish giants:
- Good news for Tottenham, Tanguy Ndombele is prepared to take a wage cut to find a new club, well he's have to wouldn't he, nobody is going to pay the lazy waster what we are paying him.
He is another self centred player who thinks he should be guaranteed a starting place and play the way he wants to play, not the way a coach wants him to play.
We hear a Spanish club is making enquiries, which are only loan enquiries I believe. Tottenham will accept him going on another loan, indeed they do not want him at Tottenham.
The unnamed club asking about the availability of Tanguy Ndombele is, I understand, Sevilla.
- Tottenham's new home kit will be launched on Tuesday.
- The striker we are going to target is 23-year-old (24 next January) Gianluca Scamacca of Sassuolo who is around the £42.73m (€50m - US$53.75m - AUS$73.94m) mark. The Italian international has 4 caps.
