Hello once again from Tottenham Hotspur Blog News (THBN) with some more Spurs chat for you to indulge yourself in over a cup of British tea.

British tea, that come from the far flung corners of the globe, yet we still call it ours, how beautifully British.

Today we will remind ourselves of the Newcastle United takeover and the misconceptions that supporters have over the way clubs a re funded, which exposes their demonstrations as those lacking in the essential knowledge of how clubs are funded.

"The league is currently refining new related-party transaction rules which will prevent the Saudi state agreeing sponsorship deals with other Saudi entities as a way of funnelling money into the club. Until they do so there is a temporary ban on new commercial agreements with pre-existing partners."

Now that passage is from The Telegraph and it is a very important one as it 'teaches' the anti-ENIC anti-Levy crows that Sugar Daddies are against Financial Fair Play and are prevented from pumping money into a club to fund wages and transfers.

These people want our owners and chairman out, but apart from an illegal Sugar Daddy, have no idea what or who they want.

They are out of touch with the modern game, out of touch with the realities of Financial Fair Play and it's restrictions.

The owners of Manchester City funded the club through sponsorship deals.

The Newcastle United owners, presumably, want to fund their club in the same way but the Premier League chairman do not want to allow it, as the Man City deals we all know were dodgy and are still being investigated by the Premier League.

The Premier League is in the process of amending it's related-party sponsorship deal rules and there is a ban in place while they do so.

Newcastle cannot just go out and buy who they want.

Manchester City's owners could not just give City money to buy Harry Kane.

Once you realize Sugar Daddies are a thing of the past, whether you agree with that or not, then you have to look at how your club should be funded.

Tottenham are miles ahead of the pack in that respect, thanks to the vision of our chairman and his determination for the club to secure sustainable additional revenue.

Revenue that when generated can be ploughed into the team.

Tottenham have not been in this position before, with 'sustainable' income as opposed to a one-off windfall, that doesn't pay the players wages for the next 5 years.

Well there you go, very brief.

One simple message, get up to date fellas and put your ill-educated hatred to bed.

Well that's it for this morning's offering folks.
