Tottenham Talk on Tuesday 3rd Aug

Harry-Kane

Some Tottenham fans are just complete and utter scumbags, sorry but it has to be said.

Harry Kane didn't turn up to training yesterday, as predicted, and some of our so called supporters, who you wouldn't even give a Tier 5 rating to, are blaming Daniel Levy.

Talk about an agenda.

The guy is trying to either keep the best player we have or get a proper market price for him, £200m.

We all know these same people will moan loudly if he is sold!

They want it both ways.

Jack Grealish (£100m) scored 6 goals, had 10 assists and can't even get into the England team.

Harry Kane scored 23 goals and won the Premier League Golden Boot competition for the third time and had 24 assists! (slip of the pen as it were, 14 not 24, easy mistake with my eyesight).

Also, people in the Far East are following players, not just clubs so he a commercial commodity that can bring revenue into a club as well as being homegrown and the England captain.

He isn't an ordinary player and he most certainly is worth a far lot more than Jack Grealish, who let's face it, is just a decent player with no European experience.

He is so expensive as a premium is added on top for being homegrown, the same applies to Harry Kane.

Kane is under contract, he has three years of it to run so doesn't have a leg to stand on.

Daniel Levy is good at poker.

Harry Kane will not be at training today and naturally he will fined by the club.

So, have City asked him to do this so they can get him on the cheap or is this all Harry and his brothers idea?

Jamie Bowden

Irishman Jamie Bowden has joined Oldham Athletic on loan for the season.

The 20-year-old (21 next July) has not had a senior loan spell so it is always interesting to see how they cope with being away from their normal environment (comfort zone).

Oldham is not round the corner for a lad born in Middlesex.

The Republic of Ireland U-19 international (1 cap, 2 goals, 2 assists in a 13-0 win over Gibraltar U-19's) defensive midfielder has been playing with the U-23 development Squad since 2019.

Bowden made his senior debut for us in a friendly against Gerona in 2018.

Joe Hart has agreed a permanent move to Celtic on £15,000-a-week for £1m.

Tottenham will play Pacos de Ferreira (Portugal) or Larne (Northern Ireland) in the UEFA Europa Conference League play-offs away in the first leg.
