Tottenham Talk on Monday 2nd Aug Part 2
Hello folks, a second post today with a quick snippets round-up of Tottenham Transfer News in Tottenham Talk on Monday 2nd Aug Part 2.
Moussa Sissoko
Tottenham have received an offer from Napoli for Moussa Sissoko in addition to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal.
Other clubs, particularly French and Italian sides, have expressed interest.
My understanding is that he is going to Al-Hilal, indeed I believe he is flying out for a medical this week.
Spurs have been asking for €10m (£8.54m - US$11.86m - AUS$16.17m).
Harry Kane
Harry Kane has already been told he can only leave if Manchester City stump up the money and that same message will be repeated in any further meeting.
He has been badly advised and gone about things in the wrong way. That's the problem with having your brother act as your agent.
Cristian Romero
Italian newspaper La Repubblica are reporting the Cristian Romero transfer from Serie A side Atalanta to Tottenham to be a done deal.
Basically it is, but as reported Fabio Paratici has flown out for what we expect to be the final meetings (Juventus and Atalanta) to dot the i's and cross the t's.
The Argentinian press are also adamant this deal is happening this week.
Harry Winks
Harry Winks has accepted that he has to leave Tottenham to get regular game time. He understands will not get back into the England squad without playing every week and that is one of his aims.
He is homegrown so we want a decent fee for him and, as I say, we have agreed a fee with Southampton which keeps him closer to home than a move to the Midlands would.
Southampton are confident of getting him.
Cameron Carter-Vickers
Young centre-back Cameron Carter-Vickers is favouring a move to Celtic who have asked for him on loan but Spurs want a £5m (€5.86m - US$6.95m - AUS$9.47m) sale.
We are expecting to get something sorted, but Newcastle United, Norwich City, Brugge, Anderlecht and AFC Bournemouth remain interested.
Serge Aurier
All quiet on the Western front at the moment in relation to Serge Aurier who has one year left on his contract.
There is plenty of interest but no offers.
Spurs are asking for €15m (£12.81m - US$17.8m - AUS$24.24m).
The fact that he hasn't gone yet is what has held up Takehiro Tomiyasu from signing on the dotted line and then of course Japan's progress in the Olympics means there is no rush to complete his signing.
Nikola Milenković
CalcioMercato who contribute to La Gazzetta Dello Sport reports that Milenković wants to leave Fiorentina and the Italian side do not want to keep him past this summer.
The report repeats that €15m (£12.81m - US$17.8m - AUS$24.24m) will secure him but that nobody has bid that amount yet, thus all offers to date have been turned down.
They report that although Juventus are interested in him, he is nor interested in Juventus, nor are Fiorentina.
He would seem to be there for the taking if we want him, but Dušan Vlahović is near to a contract extension and likes Juventus, which he is hoping for next summer.
Paratici, who has a meeting with Fiorentina this week may have his work cut out securing his #1 choice striker.
