  • Finishing 4th in the Premier League
  • The introduction of a UEFA coefficient rating 
  • Group Stage performance
Finishing 4th in the Premier League means you get a smaller amount of TV revenue money. 

The new UEFA Coefficient rating is based on the last 10 years' performance in UEFA competition with bonus points for any trophies won.

The pool is €585m and each share is worth €1.105m so that is what the lowest-ranked team, Slavia Prague, receives. 

Red Star Belgrade get two shares, Atalanta three, RB Leipzig four and so on up to Real Madrid at the top getting 32 shares.

The three big Spanish clubs figure in the top four of the UEFA Coefficient, Barcelona 2nd, Bayern Munich 3rd Atletico Madrid 4th.
