Transfer Talk: Camavinga, Edwards, Wanyama, Overview

Transfer-Talk-Marcus-Edwards
Marcus Edwards might be on the cusp of a move to Udinese

Tottenham made a bid earlier in the summer for one of the stars of the next generation, or that is what the top clubs in Europe believe. The player in question is precocious 16-year-old (17 in November) talent Eduardo Camavinga.

The Renne defensive midfielder plays in the Oliver Skipp position and has a contract until 2022. He has broken into the senior team this summer and already has an assist to his name from two Ligue 1 games.

Camavinga was born in Angola, moved to France at the age of two and now looks to have a bright future ahead of him.

The lad played against PSG who started scything him down because they couldn't get the ball of the six-footer in a Champions Trophy game.

Marcus Edwards looks as though he is about to join Udinese according to an Italian press outlet. The 20-year-old (21 in December) was told to find a new club this summer having still not grown up.

Anyone thinking he doesn't have an attitude problem should read Pochettino's book Brave New World.

“He has authority and behavioural problems, and we have to look at the bigger picture to find out the root cause. There was a time when it would have been seen as impossible for him to play professionally, let alone make it in the Premier League."

Victor Wanyama is still in the throes of a move to Brugge it would seem. His knee condition it would seem means he'll have to lower his standard of football.

There is a thought at Spurs that the 28-year-old (29 next June) Kenyan international captain would fail a medical in any of the top five leagues. He has not yet taken a medical as incorrectly reported elsewhere.
