Watch Walker-Peters in attacking situations carefully.
See his inability to beat and man and ask yourself why? Ask yourself how you beat a man? Ask yourself what he needs to do differently to beat a man?

When in these situations he is predictable, you know what he is going to do and he doesn't have the explosiveness to overcome it. That is important in our system where the full-backs are attackers who defend, as in most successful teams in the modern era.
A player who can only cross a ball in time and space isn't much use and his crossing for me isn't good enough anyway.
If he is to make it then this is a big area to work on and I am not seeing the improvement needed.
The overall impression I get with my coaches hat on is a player who is not prepared to take responsibility and passes the buck. A player who plays safe and I'm talking about his attacking play here.
In my long-stated view, we need someone with more about them going forward.

I wish the guy well. He's a Spurs lad after all. I don't see him featuring in many games, and especially where we're expected to dominate. Maybe when up against teams with a real threat down their left side. Even then though, we need to offer them something so they realise they can't simply concentrate their efforts there and need to defend a real threat. He would be little use for that.
