Transfer Talk - Skov, Eriksen, Pellerini, Zaniolo

Robert-Skov

Transfer Talk today brings news of Tottenham interest in 23-year-old (24 in May) Copenhagen winger Robert Skov. Watford and Wolves are also following him.

Stories abound in Italy and it is suggested new Inter Milan boss wants Eriksen and Son and will offer 30-year-old (31 next February) Ivan Perišić. There have also been reports of offering him to Manchester United in part exchange for Paul Pogba.

A 30-year-old winger is of no use to Spurs and neither offer will be entertained. It is highly doubtful that either player would want to go to Inter anyway as it would be a step down from where they are now.

PSG and Juventus remain interested in Eriksen after Zidane won the power struggle with Perez over Eriksen or Pogba. Zidane is not convinced by Eriksen and as I wrote previously, he failed his audition in the Champions League Final.

Eriksen Blows His Real Madrid Audition

Roma star Lorenzo Pellegrini would be happy to join Tottenham and wants UEFA Champions League football next season, which Roma can't supply. His agent is currently in London and will no doubt be in contact with the club.

The 22-year-old (23 on 19th June) central midfielder and Italian international (he has10 full international caps) has a release clause of €35m (£31.14m - $39.60m) and Roma would like to offer him a new contract, remove or significantly raise that release clause.

That would mean a decent increase in wages and they have no guaranteed European football having only qualified for the Europa League qualifiers, so are at a bit of a disadvantage.

Tottenham have reportedly dropped interest in Nicolo Zaniolo, the Roma midfielder wanted by Juventus. The Italian champions are his preference and that may have just as much bearing as Spurs chasing Giovani Lo Celso and Bruno Fernandes.
