Transfer Talk: Eriksen and Praet

Christian-Eriksen

Christian Eriksen told Mauricio Pochettino at the beginning of the season that he was leaving at the end of it and now he has announced it to the world through Danish media.

He reiterated his desire to leave to Pochettino and Daniel Levy 10 days prior to the final so the news will not be a shock to Spurs. There is much speculation that Pochettino has chosen Real Betis playmaker Giovani Lo Celso as his successor, although Tottenham has made contact with Leicester City about James Maddison and have his as an alternative option.

That new Challenge is either going to be at Real Madrid, PSG, Bayern Munich or Juventus, with Real Madrid the favourites, Juventus in second place, Bayern Munich third and PSG fourth.

There will be plenty of people now changing their tune about him, but a section of us who will retain the view that we have held and that will now become popular.

He is a quality player but he is not world class, he goes missing too many times in games, as he did in the UEFA Champions League Final.

He likes to spend his time behind the ball and thus is suited to Pirlo playmaking role from deep that Luca Modric plays for Real Madrid. He doesn't play the number 10 role as he doesn't get in the box a great deal. His shooting from free kicks is poor, what is it one goal in 2 seasons or is it 3?

Buy a quality player and I don't think he is that difficult to replace, he is no Gareth Bale that's for sure.

Eden Hazard went for £88.7 million( €100m) with a year left on his contract so I'd expect Christian Eriksen to go for the same amount, as I can't see Daniel Levy accepting anything less.

Tottenham used to track Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet and we were linked with him before he moved to Sampdoria in Italy.

Praet now wants to leave for a top club in one of the top 4 leagues (Italy, Spain, England, Germany) he told HLN Sport.

He doesn't want French football it would seem. He says he has no release clause but has an agreement that he can look at offers that come in. If the fee is acceptable he won't be held back.
