Are Spurs Signing Former Man U starlet Ravel Morrison

Ravel-Morrison

The LiverpoolEcho are reporting that Ravel Morrison could be on the verge of a £3 million move to Tottenham.

The former Manchester United, West Ham, QPR, Birmingham, Cardiff and Lazio player, moved to Sweden on a 6-month deal to play in the Allsvenskan for Östersund.

Rio Ferdinand recalls one particular moment when Morrison was 14: “Sir Alex Ferguson, I remember, he called me and Wazza [Wayne Rooney] over one day and said: “look at this kid, he’s better than you, Rooney when you were a kid, he’s better than you, Rio, better than Ryan Giggs when you were kids. This is the best kid you will ever see.”

The problem from then is one of mentality, some don't possess a winning mentality and stop doing the work necessary to keep improving and getting to the top of the game. Marcus Edwards is a prime example.

The hope is that at some point, a talented player understands the problem, understands what everyone is telling him is true and knuckles down to do the hard graft and whatever it takes to get to the top.

Idle speculation. Well there is a picture of him on Twitter where it is claimed he has flown his younger cousin out to Östersund and was showing him around on the top of his car! Whether that is true or not I don't know, but if it is, it shows a worrying mentality.

Jamacia had wanted the English Under-21 international to join up with them for the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup from June 15 to July 7, but he is no longer in their squad, although he holds Jamaican citizenship.

Have Spurs asked him to rest with pre-season training starting on 8th July? Can Pochettino rekindle his talent? Has Poch spoken to him to convince him if he does as he is asked he will turn him into an England international, the way he did Danny Rose?

The attacking midfielder has been watched by Portsmouth and Sunderland while on loan.

Apparently, Paul Pogba was amazed by this guy so here is a story of their diverging careers.
