Should Spurs buy £15m Delph?

Fabian-delph

Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph is reportedly available for £15 million this summer, should Spurs buy him?

We are reportedly selling Kieran Trippier and will need to boost our homegrown quota. Delph is an England international and at Manchester City has won trophies and worked under one of the best coaches in the world.

He trains with five of the Spurs players with England so would perhaps fit into our dressing room and as a 29-year-old (30 in November) could do a job for us as a squad player who can cover at full-back as well as midfield.

Buying him would also allow us to sell Victor Wanyama, who has had 2 years of injury and who, anyway, I don't think has the speed of bain for football at the highest level. For me, he takes too long to decide what to do with the ball when he receives it.

In addition, I watched him closely against Ajax and his movement was terrible. When our defenders had the ball he just stood basically, not offering a passing opportunity. Our defenders kept having to go back to Hugo Lloris, which just kept us under even more pressure further back.

At a time when we needed movement, only Christian Eriksen was offering it.

In today's market, £15 million is a snip.
