Walker fee will be £55m plus add-ons

TRANSFER TALK
I'm hearing the Kyle Walker fee is £55 million (€62.41m - AUS$91.78m - US$71.26m) plus add-ons, which is massively over his CIES Football Observatory estimated transfer value of £35.25 million (€40m - AUS$58.98m - US$45.62m).

We need to shift Moussa Sissoko, but his wages are a stumbling block. Marseille want him, but they will not pay him the £95,000-a-week he wants. We may have to give him a payoff to get shot of him so he can accept a lower wage at another club.
Pau Lopez is training with Tottenham which all but conforms a deal will be going through. That leaves us needing a right-back, centre-back if Kevin Wimmer leaves, an attacking midfielder who can play anywhere across the three behind a lone striker and a striker.
Ricardo Pereira (right-back) and Ross Barkley (attacking midfield) look to be two of the positions covered with Juan Foyth being bought as a centre-back for the future. Will Cameron Carter-Vickers be featuring more than people expect this season?
He could be out number one back up to Eric Dier, Toby Alderweireld and Jan Vertonghen in a back three.

There is literally no way Daniel Levy would hold all the cards, like he did, and then drop down from his original price so much. Everyone from the Spurs side are reporting it as above, £55 million plus add one. So someone is telling porkies. And for the reasons given, City will need to try to save some face after being held to ransom, and Levy held all the cards so why would he blink, I suspect it is City.
We at THFC remember all the ‘brainfarts’ that marked his early seasons in the first team.
If the gossip columns are correct and there was ’a difference of opinion with Poch’ and ‘her indoors wanted to move back North’ then DL has, once again, has excelled in the transfer market (given the circumstances).
Still wish you the best though KW…
