Chelsea-born Japanese youth international Cy Goddard is not in the USA tour squad and has not travelled with the team to the States. The Tootenham Under-21 attacking midfielder has turned down the contract extension the club offered him and has decided to leave.

Meanwhile CalcioMercato in Italy report that Juan Foyth has insisted to Estudiantes that he only wants a move to Tottenham Hotspur as he wants to play in the Premier League. We will have to wait and see how this one pans out.

It is irrelevant if PSG and Estudiantes have agreed a fee if the player himself doesn't want to move to France.

Tottenham Hotspur have made a formal enquiry for Leicester City's 26-year-old (27 next February) creative attacking inverted winger Riyad Mahrez. We have asked Leicester to keep us informed of developments after Roma submitted a £20 million bid that was immediately turned down.
