5 goal striker wants move abroad, Spurs interestd

TRANSFER TALK

The latest striker we have been linked with an interest in 19-year-old (20 next July) Caen striker Yann Karamoh. The culprit is the Daily Mirror who suggest Arsenal are rivals. Southampton were warned for tapping him up, while Newcastle United, French sides Saint-Etienne, Nice, Monaco and Italians Inter Milan have been linked.

In fact, Inter Milan have made two bids for him, £2.68 million (€3m - AUS$4.41m - US$3.53m) and £4.47 million (€5m - AUS$7.36m - US$5.88m) both of which were rejected. Saint-Etienne have reportedly had a bid accepted and L'Equipe suggest he will move there, however, Le 10 Sport reveal he does not want to move their and prefers to go abroad.

Only Florian Thauvin (82) made more unsuccessful dribbles than right-footed Karamoh (71) in Ligue 1 last season. Under contract until 2018 and able to play for France or the Ivory Coast, he is said to be rated at around £8.95 million (€10m - AUS$14.72m - US$11.75m).

He has stupidly been dubbed the next Kylian Mbappe, a 19-year-old who has only had one decent season of top flight football. He has only played 2 Under-21 games for France, scoring 1 goal and only played 5 Under-19 games again scoring 1 goal. In Ligue 1 he has scored 5 goals in 35 games, 2,185 minutes, equivalent to 24.27 full games.

If you are going to start talking about him in the same bracket as Mbappe then his price is peanuts in comparison, which suggests the only similarity they have is they are young strikers in France.
