Under-20 World Cup win great news for Spurs youngsters future

Congratulations to the England lads on wining the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup in South Korea on Sunday thanks to a 1-0 victory over Venezuela.

New Liverpool signing Dominic Solanke was given the best player of the tournament award (Golden Ball) and Newcastle United youngster Freddie Woodman won the best goalkeeper of the tournament award (Golden Glove). He excelled himself by saving a penalty in the final.

This is the first FIFA trophy any England side has won at any age group since the senior side won the 1966 World Cup. Kyle Walker-Peters and Josh Onomah both played in the final.

For that pair it can only have been a wonderful experience of playing under pressure in front of over 30,000 people, which can only help their Spurs careers. The more players who have a success mindset at the club the better and it doesn't come any bigger for this age group.

They will be able to take the mentality of success and of how to deal with a high pressure situation into the Premier League which should help them settle to then show more of what they are capable of.
