Tottenham Hotspur and West Ham United are said to be watching the progress of 25-year-old (26 in June) Turkish international Cenk Tosun according to Turkish Football. They report from another source, the Takvim newspaper, that say a Besiktas spokesperson has told them we have been watching Tosun throughout the season so are obviously keen on his talents.

“Cenk is a key player, we would only consider offers of £17.01 million (€20m - AUS$28.33m - US$21.23m) for him, otherwise he will stay.”

The centre-forward has 18 caps for his country, scoring 5 goals, two of which have come in competitive fixtures and is under contract at Turkish side Besiktas JK until 2019. He is yet another player whose boot manufacturer is Nike, he wears the Hypervenom Phantom III FG - Radiation Flare.

In total he has scored 21 goals in 39 games this season being broken down into 17 from 27 Super Lig games (3 assists), 1 in 6 UEFA Champions League games, 3 in 4 UEFA Europa League games and no goals in one game in each of the two Turkish cups, the Turkcell Süper Kupa and the Türkiye Kupasi.
