Spurs youngsters starting today
Young Lions head coach Steve Cooper has named his England Under-17 team for the final European Under-17 qualifier, against Bosnia and Timothy Eyoma and Tashan Oakley-Boothe are both in the starting XI.
The score is 0-0 after 22 minutes.
Eyoma is a 17-year-old (18 next January) centre-back who plays for our Under-18 side and has 5 England Under-17 caps after picking up 4 England Under-16 caps. He made his debut for the international Under-17 side in October last year.
He is right-footed and can operate as a right-back. This season he has played 5 UEFA Youth League games, 4 FA Youth Cup games and 2 Premier League 2 games. A total of 11 games consisting of 846 minutes of actual playing time.
Londoner Oakley-Boothe is a 17-year-old (18 next February) central midfielder who plays in our Under-18 side and has 5 England Under-17 caps after picking up 5 England Under-16 caps. He made his debut for the international Under-17 side in October last year.
This season he has appeared in 5 UEFA Youth League games, 4 FA Youth Cup games and 3 Premier League 2 games. A total of 12 games consisting of 869 minutes of actual playing time.
