TRANSFER TALK
Tottenham Hotspur are still scouting 22-year-old (23 in March) Mimoun Mahi, a right footed inverted left winger for FC Groningen, a side in the Dutch Eredivisie.Having said that, this season he seems to be playing more as a centre-forward, 12 games there, as opposed to 6 on the left wing.
The Holland Under-21 international, he has 3 caps, is under contract until 2017, although the club does have an extra 2-year option and cost Groningen just £340,000 from Sparta Rotterdam in August 2014.

Mahi was born in the Den Haag, Holland to parents of Moroccan descent so is qualified for both countries as he hasn't yet played a competitive full international. Any side who signs him will not know whether he will miss January in two years time with the 2019 African Cup of Nations.
In 20 Eredivisie games (1,533 minutes) he has scored nine goals and had two assists. He stands 1.81m (5ft 11 1⁄2in) tall and was the subject of a late bid from Spurs in January claim Lions De l'Atlas. They report Swansea City also made a firm bid.
Having bid during the winter transfer window, we will still be watching his progress and may come back in the summer to look at his situation then.

Find a backup left fullback with pace and more depth at striker.
Give Carters-Vickers more playing time so he can develop.
At S'ton in 2013/14 Poch basically used only 14 players...
