Barcelona, Real Madrid, PSG all watching Dele Alli

TRANSFER TALK

The mark of a successful side in the transfer market is that all the clubs covet your players and that is the case with PSG and Dele Alli. I'm surprised we haven't heard many stories from the press before, given his ability, age and potential. he could go to the very top.

The Daily Mirror have come up with a story about PSG wanting to bid £50 million for Dele Alli. My initial impression is that thye have made the story up because of the amount. If we hop over to out friend the currency converter £50 million is €59.31 million, a rather strange figure for a team who work in euros. If they were to bid such a round figure it would be €60 million which equates to £50.58 million, unless of course we are dealing with a lazy journalist. Then again it doesn't really matter what they bid, he is under contract until 2022 and any bid will be rejected out of hand.

Naturally, Real Madrid are watching him, you would expect nothing less. There are also reports that Barcelona see him as a replacement for the ageing 32-year-old (33 next May) Spanish midfield maestro Andres Iniesta, which is quite some compliment.
