Champions League kind with fixturess

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE TALK

The UEFA Champions League is nearly upon us and we will have to cope with two games a week, just as we had to in the UEFA Europa League. That in't much different, except we'll have less Sunday games and perhaps not be on the TV quite so much. What will be different is playing at two different venues with two different pitch sizes.

Before - CL Fixture - After
Stoke City - Monaco (h) (Wed) - Sunderland
Middlesbrough - CSKA Moscow (a) (Tues) - Manchester City
WBA - Bayer Leverkusen (a) (Tues) - Bournemouth
Leicester City - Bayer Leverkusen (h) (Wed) - Arsenal
West Ham United - Monaco (a) (Tues) - Chelsea
Swansea City - CSKA Moscow (h) (Wed) - Manchester United

Manchester City have a Champions League tie against Celtic on the Wednesday before they play us.

Leicester City play Copenhagen away the same night we play Bayer Leverkusen at home. Arsenal play on Tuesday and are away to PFC Ludogorets Razgrad, a Bulgarian football club based in Razgrad.

Manchester United are in the UEFA Europa League and will be playing the day after us on a Thursday. While we are at home to Monaco, Manchester United are away to FC Zorya Luhansk, who are based in the city of Luhansk, Luhansk Oblast, Ukraine.

Looking aat who the other teams have to play and the travelling that they have to do the fixtures surrounding our UEFA Champions League games are not too bad.
