Alderweireld, Alli, Dier, Eriksen, Lloris = Stones

TRANSFER TALK
Having revealed the Spurs thrashing was the end for Roberto Mancini we are now hearing that he was phoned right after the defeat and installed in next to no time. It didn't take the Italian press long to speculate which former players he could bring to Inter Milan, Christian Eriksen was the third name I saw mentioned, all rather meaningless.
For those fans still fixated on chequebook football you may want to remind yourself that Toby Alderweireld, Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen and Hugo Lloris cost less combined than John Stones did for Manchester City or Paul Pogba for Manchester United.
Given Stones fee, how much is Alderweireld worth? He is classed by some as the best centre-back in the Premier League, he was immense last season. What price is Alli worth if Pogba is £89-million bearing in mind he is a home-grown player which adds a premium to his price?
Seems like sound business from Daniel Levy, Rebecca Caplehorn, Paul Mitchell, Rob Mackenzie and Mauricio Pochettino in the transfer market to me.

This is the 'Transfer Talk' for spurs is it?
For such an unintentionally ironic comment it's a shame they didn't see the point of the initial ironic comment. Is that irony cubed, or just squared?
