We move on and prepare for the NLD
2 min read

I had a feeling we were going to come unstuck at West Ham with my pre-game posts reminding supporters they were going to be much tougher opponents than perhaps some expected. We had been on a run of victories which had to finish at some point.
West Ham hadn't lost at home since the initial first two home games of the season. They had space out wide, which troubles us and their central pairing, where we concentrate attacks, do a lot of harrying of opponents. Slaven Bilic changes formations so it may have surprised the commentator a change of system, but it was easily predictable.
Dele Alli was rested and we made the expected changes on 60 and 70 minutes as predicted with Arsenal in mind at the weekend. Our weekend opponents lost and Manchester City lost so we are still just one win from overhauling Leicester City at the top. The defeat hasn't really made much difference
Unfortunately, we once again had to listen to the 'expert' being a former West Ham player who simply spent the time gushing about West Ham. He seemed to forget the deliveries Christian Eriksen can put into the box telling us we won't see crosses as good as Dimitri Payet. Utter nonsense, we already have. I find biased commentary infuriating, We get Alan Smith against Arsenal usually, Nial Quinn against Manchester City who see things through their former clubs eyes. Every injustice is an injustice against them, it never seems to be the other way around.
We move on and prepare for the North London Derby.
