Forget a striker we have no interest in!

talkSPORT have produced a crazy story. They have run a story suggesting that the Bayer Leverkusen boss, Roger Schmidt, is pouring cold water on supposed stories linking his 31-year-old striker Stefan Kiessling with a move to Tottenham.
We, of course, have a transfer policy of not buying anyone over 27 unless they are special. The press seems to have forgotten that. Spurs supposedly need a striker and he is a striker, therefore we must be trying to buy him even though he is unsuitable.
It is too stupid for words, the links are basically regarding Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool, we have only been added because it is easy to do so, not because we have scouted him or made contact with his agents.

"This topic is zero percent for both Stefan and myself. We have already lost many players in the summer who played here for a long time and it created a small problem in the first half of the season. I am not at all thinking about selling the next experience player [in January] again."
