Adebayor offered £35,000-a-week

Emmanuel Adebayor has rather backed himself into a corner with his attitude, even his national side Togo refuse to pick him again. Currently, we are paying him an agreed figure to leave the club which was agreed after the transfer window had shut meaning he couldn't sign for another Premier League club until January.

There will be plenty interested and there may be a surprise with a top club coming in for him, £100,000-a-week for Manchester United is nothing. Beyond the top clubs, there is interest, but not the wages. The strong rumour is that he is going to Aston Villa in January, but will Tim Sherwood be there? If he isn't then it is doubtful they would be interested, the move seems solely driven by Sherwood. Previously it would have been with Spurs paying part of his wages, it is highly doubtful Aston Villa would offer him anywhere near that and Adebayor is not the type of player who wants to fight against relegation, he still thinks he is special according to previous newspaper reports I remember reading

Turkey, where football players go for the tax system are always linked with players when they become available, few end up there. The Arca news agency report that Galatasaray has offered Emmanuel Adebayor just £34,615-a-week wages, rather a far cry from the £100,000+ he was on at Tottenham.

You would expect Premier League clubs to offer him £50,000-a-week and there will be interest from Italy. Finding a club isn't a difficulty for Adebayor, finding the wage packet may be.
