This is a tough game today

Three points are important tomorrow especially as the game is at White Hart Lane, but it is going to be a very tough game.
At this early stage of the season, three points would leap you up the table and we have the added pressure of playing on a Sunday meaning we can already see teams with results climbing above us. Three points could potentially move us to 9th and just one point off 4th if results went our way.
Anyone who thinks any team should have been watching the South Africa vs Japan Rugby World Cup game, a presumed walkover ends in defeat. Sunderland played well last week and made it difficult, Chelsea have started badly, West Ham are second, it's a somewhat different season at this point.
Crystal Palace will be no pushovers, who can forget when Tim Sherwood was in charge, Jason Puncheon missing a penalty when we were totally outplayed in the first half or the difficult 0-0 draw last season. This we have conceded in 4 of our 6 games and only scored 4 goals, that has to change, cue the clinical finishing when we are two up debate. You can't turn it on and off like a tap it has to be ingrained.
We are susceptible to counter-attacks and Crystal palace under Alan Pardew play counter-attacking football. The pace of Zaha, Bolasie, Sake and Puncheon will cause us problems, Ben Davies could well have a difficult day if he plays ahead of Rose. They have beaten Chelsea at Stamford Bridge nad only narrowly lost to Arsenal and Manchester City, their away record is impressive having lost only 2 of their last 10, both 1-0.
If we are to win that may have to be the scoreline again, but this is not going to be easy.
Kick-off Sunday 1.30pm
