Improved content and a Son Heung shirt to be won
1 min read
Tottenham Hotspur have really now upgraded their social media interaction with fans and the simple branding of videos goes a long way to upgrading the rather child-like content we had to endure before.
It was all rather amateurish as if a bunch of kids had got hold of a microphone, a camera and had access to the players. They were like star-struck kids, now however we see a more professional approach. Now we see branding, now we see some quality content and more of it, at the end of the day content is the be all and end all.
You have to provide what people want in your niche, you have to have your own voice, not be lost in a sea of similarity. The anti- Levy anti-ENIC have their focal point where they congregate, that's fine we know where they are, we have sites like The Tottenham Way who have upgraded their content and for me over the last year enhanced it with opinion, I don't always agree with them, but they are providing added value rather than simple news regurgitation.
I think as Spurs fans we now get more from our Spurs websites, from sites like this one to the official website, even Harry Hotspur, who markets well to his micro niche audience, create talking points and discussion. It would be a boring world if we all agreed all the time.
A recent offering from the improved Spurs TV is the chance to win a signed Son Heung-min shirt, details are in the video below.
