Adem Ljajić and Fabio Borini on Spurs radar
Spurs have been scouring the leagues across Europe since Paul Mitchell arrived in an attempt to uncover players who are not going to be expensive that will go on a list we have for each position in the team.
We compile that list, as does every club, whether we are selling players in those positions or not, you never know when a player may decide to leave or break his leg and be out for a season. Just like a boy scout we have to be prepared.
On our attacking midfielder list, a position we haven't really nailed down yet, is 23-year-old (24 in September) Adem Ljajić of Roma. Former Tottenham interim in all but name boss Tim Sherwood wants him at Aston Villa and they have held talks with Roma over a possible move.
Further news from Italy (TMW) suggest that we have 24-year-old (25 in March) Liverpool out of favour striker Fabio Borini on our list of possibles instead of Saido Berahino. Borini has an offer from Inter Milan he is considering at the moment.
