Premier League winner £70K a week, should we buy?

Tottenham, are clearly looking for defensive midfield players at the moment with Mauricio Pochettino almost solely relying on Nabil Bentaleb and the more attacking Ryan Mason.
Benjamin Stambouli will seemingly go if the money is right but stay if it isn't, Watford are making a move for him while Étienne Capoue and Paulinho are surly out the door. Mousa Dembélé needs to up his game and hopefully the kick up the backside Pochettino has given him by leaving him on the bench for most of the season will make him work harder at his game.
He is a player who seems as if he knows he is guaranteed a starting place so can just do what he does without getting better, for Pochettino that isn't good enough. His statistics compared with the other midfield players show he passes backwards too often. Add to that the fact he slows play down when we want to play quicker and doesn't like shooting mean he has to change his mentality to become a regular again.
We have seen a similar problem at Manchester City, Yaya Touré looks as if he can't be bothered in games and Vincent Kompany isn't the same player with no competition.
We have been linked with a lot of young players to play the high energy high press game but we actually will have very little experience when Capoue and Paulinho leave. Bentaleb and Mason have only had one full season, Stambouli has hardly played leaving just Dembele with experience.
Young 19-year-old Englishman Dele Alli has joined, Tom Carroll has come back from a loan spell with Swansea City and Levy has admitted that perhaps we have missed some experience in the club, although Pochettino says age doesn't matter. Could we do with signing an experienced defensive midfielder?
Last summer we were linked with Esteban Cambiasso who played for Leicester City and available at the end of June when his contract runs out is former Manchester City defensive midfield title winner Nigel De Jong.
The AC Milan 30-year-old is interesting Manchester United who were reportedly in talks in April over a move. He is said to want £70,000 a week (US$106,859 - AUS$140,261 - €96,169) but is available for free.
Isn't he just what our young guns need to learn from, Bentaleb, Mason, Carroll and Dele Alli would all surely benefit from his input and daily work on the training ground. Bargains are all well and good but youngsters do need some experience around them. We are trying to keep our wages under control I know and we do have youngsters coming through needing wage increases when they establish themselves.
We don't have to give every player a four year contract however, we could negotiate a two year deal while they all develop, it might be a project he would be interested in taking on.
