Claudio Beauvue 'I dream of Arsenal'
1 min read
Back in May we were linked with a move for Guingamp striker Claudio Beauvue who would like the chance to test himself in the Premier League.
Guingamp president Bertrand Desplat revealed Spurs had enquired about his striker who is believed to have an agreement that he can leave at the end of the season, which officially ends 30 June.
The agreement was confirmed by the player himself, who would cost it is thought, around £6 million (US$9.33m - AUS$12.01m - €8.30m).
Like all players he would love the chance to play in the UEFA Champions League and his dream is to play for Arsenal.
Not exactly the best job application I have ever heard. That was in response to a question asking him which side he would most like to play for in the Premier League, a more non-commital answer would have been wise and in the true traditions of player PR speak telling us nothing.
Marseilles, who play a similar system to us, are negotiating to buy the striker but Guingamp say no deal has been signed, hardly surprising if the 27-year-old (28 in April) wants to come to the Premier League.

"The deal I had with the club president was that I would leave in the event of a beautiful season. The season has been very beautiful."

"My dream is like my idol Thierry Henry, Arsenal. I hope one day my career playing there. It is a dream I have since I was little."
