Daft Gomis story
1 min read
A daft story arises from the Daily star trying to suggest that a player who couldn't even get in the Swansea side before Wilfried Bony left is a target for Tottenham, complete rubbish.
Swansea are certainly not going to sell a striker they only bought in the summer and especially not now they have sold Bony for a hugely inflated fee. Bafétimbi Gomis has scored 1 Premier League goal in 706 minutes of football, hardly what Tottenham are looking for. another striker with a poor record in the Premier League. Having played in 18 games his only goal was 10 games ago.
This is a hopeless piece of journalism, he was spotted in London so Spurs must be on the alert, pathetic. Gary Monk has confirmed he is not for sale.

‘I had a chat with him and what I said to him I will keep between me and him. He is a good player and I can’t afford to lose any more good players.
‘Every player in the world has a possibility of moving but it doesn’t mean that possibility has to come to a reality. It is up to the club what happens and Bafe is far too important to us.
‘He has got a great chance now to make a name for himself in the Premier League and finish the season strongly. Then, if he had ambitions at that point, we could discuss them.’
