Spurs sit 5th on away form

Results continue to assist us with Southampton recording their fourth straight loss and West Ham only drawing at Sunderland. Not sides we would normally be concerned with but so poor have we been this season that that is the company we keep.

Arsenal thrashed Newcastle and Liverpool are away to Manchester United tomorrow before our away fixture at Swansea, where Ben Davies and Gylfi Sigurdsson have swapped sides.

Our 5 games form is won 2 drawn 1 lost 2 which is the same as Swansea, who sit one point above us with a 6 goal better goal difference. To remain in touch we really need a win tomorrow but before the Chelsea defeat, in our last 2 away games we have been losing until the opposition had a man sent off and we could grab late wins.

Our away form we sit 5th in the table but as I say we have been rather lucky when playing rather poorly, we can't even use the excuse we have been playing against packed defences.

We have a minus 3 goal difference overall and still a minus 3 goal difference over 7 games, we lost to Chelsea 3-0. Dwansea however have a good home record and sit 3rd in the table on home form.

The stats suggest a draw is the best we can hope for again with Swansea having only lost at home once and ourselves being lucky to record two of our three victories away. Stats are there to be turned on their head though so fingers crossed the Spurs midfield discover how to run past the ball into the box and we pass forwards to find them.
