Will Kane play Thursday or be rested?

Will Harry Kane now start against Stoke City or will he be used as a substitute again. The clamour is to play him in the Premier League but there is a game on Thursday against Asteras Tripolis in the UEFA Europa League.
We travel to Greece for an encounter on Thursday and you'd expect Harry Kane to be laying, however if he is going to play at the weekend he is more likely to be on the bench. Pochettino recognises that Kane needs more Premier League time but whether that means starting with hi is another matter.
Mauricio Pochettino usually makes 10 changes from his Premier League team but Hugo Lloris was sent off in the home tie so Michel Vorm will play in goal with Brad Friedel travelling at back-up. Will Roberto Soldado lead the line and does that mean a possible place for Paulinho as the attacking midfielder.
Will Emmanuel Adebayor become the second team striker having notched only 2 goals but quite frankly doing little else. Kane and Adebayor played together at the end of last season but we are playing a different way with a new boss now. The pair offer an aerial threat and the temptation would be to play too many long balls, you can just see Kaboul lumping it forward. Surely though we would need the full-backs constantly overlapping to get crosses in as our wingers don't cross a ball but run inside.
As a provider of goals Soldado does a better job than Adebayor and as I've been pointing out lately, he is our most creative player around the box. On Sunday he played in the hole but our midfield was then overrun so that poses another conundrum..
We don't seem able to play the system Pochettino wants and look lost trying anything else. Fans are desperate for a performance that gives us some hope to latch on to.
