Hugo Lloris to sign for Real Madrid
1 min read
It comes as no surprise that Real Madrid are reported to want Hugo Lloris as their next keeper and if an approach is made he will obviously leave to join them.
The Daily Express are making the claim, which has probably originated from the Spanish press that Real Madrid will offer £20 million for one of the best sweeper-keepers in the world.
Th French international captain has been head and shoulders above any other Spurs player for the last year and should have received the Player of the Year Award last season. His concentration has been exceptional since he cut out the initial errors he was making. Just like Gareth Bale carried us for a season and rescued an amazing number of points, so Hugo Lloris has rescued us time and time again.
The lure of Champions League football and the worlds star club verses a mentally weak Tottenham Hotspur stuck in complacency. Not really much choice to make is there. It must be stressed that he is happy at Tottenham and in no great rush to get away so a deal at the end of the season is the likely option.
Being the French captain it's important Lloris plays at the highest possible level and he is known to want to play Champions League football, that looks increasingly unlikely to happen at Tottenham unless there s a dramatic turnaround in attitude and form.
Sitting on the bench Tottenham have Michel Vorm already signed are hoping for the chance to take over as the new number one.

Madrid trying to get one of our players on the cheap again.....just remember Bale was initially going there for £30m.
As long as Spurs invest the money better this time....quality left back and a striker that actually scores!
