Alex Pritchard is currently with the England U21 squad preparing for a crucial double-header against Croatia U21 as a qualification eliminator for the European U21 Championships.
The first leg is tomorrow, Friday, on BT Sport 5.45 BST at Wolverhampton Wanderers ground with the away leg is 4 days later, Tuesday 14th October.
He enjoyed a productive loan spell at Swindon Town last season and has stepped up a level with Brentford this season. Naturally he watches the activity of his old team mates and one player he is taking particular attention of is Ryan Mason.
West London Sport asked him if he would like to emulate Mason and break into the Tottenham first-team.
Pritchard is 21, Ryan Mason is 23 but a lad in Pritchard's eyes, must have an old head on his shoulders as a result of all that growing up at Swindon.

“Of course I do look at that and think ‘I want a bit of that. But I’m not there, I’m away from it, playing football and concentrating on myself at Brentford.
“Its great to see Ryan doing so well; to have come on and scored and then got his start against Arsenal.
“He can go right to the top with his ability. He’s got his head screwed on and is a good professional.
“He’s waited longer for his chance than he probably should have, but he has the dedication. He’s a great lad and he deserves what he’s getting right now."
