More starts for Tom Carroll hopefully

On loan Tottenham midfielder Tom Carroll played for Swansea in an away defeat to Stoke City at the weekend. It was his first start in the Premier League since his season-long loan move in the summer.
Carroll was a part of the England Under 21 side who had two tough ties against the Serbia U21 side in the European U-21 Championship play-off during the last international break. He displayed a superb range of passing in those games, short or long with accuracy.
Tottenham boss and the fans will be hoping to more of Carroll in the Premier League, at 22 he needs to develop this season and that means forcing his way into the Swansea side, then staying there.
The start was pleasing to see but he was withdrawn after 64 minutes. He had 1 shot, touched the ball 47 times and made 40 passes with a passing accuracy of 87.5%. His passing accuracy was only bettered by former Tottenham midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson 41 passes at 87.8% and Ki Sung-Yueng 61 passes at 93.4%.

"I was very happy to get the start. Obviously it was disappointing not to get a point or all three in the end, but Stoke is always a tough place to come."
