Right let's get into the Tottenham News Shorts - Issue 63 that concerns recent news regarding Aaron Lennon, Archway Steel, Andy Najar, Morgan Schneiderlin

The Sunday People claim United Arab Emirates side Al Ahli, who are based in Dubai and play in the UAE Arabian Gulf League, tried to buy Aaron Lennon. The report suggest they bid £5.5 million for him and were willing to offer £3 million in wages.

Obviously it's an impossible time to sell Lennon with the Premier League squad already given to the Premier League. Pochettino brings him on when he wants a more defensive wide man it seems. Spurs tried to sell him during the closing stages of the summer transfer window but Lennon refused a move to QPR on the final day preferring to stay and try and fight for a place. That's an attitude you can't knock whether you like the player or not.

An account suggests the owner of Archway Steel has a personal grudge against Daniel Levy and determined several years ago to do everything he could to create as much havoc as he can, knowing full well he has no chance of success. Seems rather childish. At the moment they have a legal bill there accounts suggest can't afford as they strive for an absurd £21 million pay-off.

The family are not Arsenal fans as has been suggested, not are they doing this for their workforce or because it will affect their business. They simply want to try and set themselves up for life and cost the club as much as possible in time, trouble and increased building costs.

The Daily Star have suggested that Tottenham scouts watched winger Andy Najar during Anderlecht’s UEFA Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund 3-0 last week. They go on to say that Tottenham were suitibly impressed and have decided to watch their next Champions League group game against Arsenal at home on 22 October. They then travel to the Emirates for the away leg on 4 November so will get another opportunity close to home.

The Honduras international spent 2 weeks training with Tottenham in 2011 ahead of a move from DC United to Anderlecht.

The Daily Mirror report that Morgan Schneiderlin is to be offered a big wage increase to try and stop him joining Tottenham in January. Despite PR to the contrary he is said to not be happy that Southampton reneged on an agreement to sell him, especially after a deal was agreed in principle before the World Cup.
