Sunderland Game Intro

Well it's Sunderland on the menu today, let's hope we don't make a meal of it. The latest word from the camp is that Roberto Soldado (neck) is still out as of course is Kyle Waker (hip, groin).

Sunderland Game Intro

We had word previously fro Mauricio Pochettino that Walker could return soon but since then he has had an operation so thoughts of him being available in a few weeks looks highly unlikely despite positive recent words.

Tottenham could well hand debuts to centre-back Federico Fazio and defensive midfielder Benjamin Stambouli because Nabil Bentaleb only arrived back on Thursday from international duty and may well need extra rest. We saw the problem of fatigue when Daniel Sturridge injured a muscle in England training because Roy Hodgson was using antiquated methods.

Pochettino has said he expects them to both travel with the squad
