Gareth Bale backs Chelsea to triumph

Gareth Bale, who rescued Wales with a header and a trade mark free-kick against Andorra, has tipped Chelsea to win the Premier League after their summer acquisitions.
They brought six players to the club and addressed their problem area, the attack with the purchases of Diego Costa arrived from La Liga Champions and UEFA Champions League runners-up Atletico Madrid for £32 million ($51.97m - €40.17m), Loic Remy from QPR for £8 million ($12.99m - €19.04m) and former favourite Didier Drogba as a player coach, offloading flop Fernando Torres.
They also bought left-back Filipe Luis also from Atletico Madrid for £15 million ($24.36m - €18.83m), midfielder Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona for £30 million ($48.72m - €37.66m) and paid £2.2 million ($3.57m - €2.78m) for Mario Pasalic from Hajduk Split, who has gone on a season long loan to Spain.

“I feel Chelsea will win this year. They’re very strong, so I reckon they’ll win this year.
“Obviously the Premier League’s very, very good, and Spain’s very good, but it’s slightly different I think. If you’ve been playing in the Premier League and you go to Spain you can learn a new type of football, and different things about your game that maybe you wouldn’t learn if you just stayed in the Premier League.
“For me I think it’s enhanced my game, it’s made me a better player and made me learn more about football which is only a positive.”
