Kane - QPR is going to be another tough game
2 min read
After helping Tottenham secure an away win in Cyprus against AEL Limassol on Thursday Spurs turn their attentions back to the Premier League and Queens Park Rangers on Sunday.
Because of the UEFA Europa League Tottenham played more games than any other Premier League team, 54 and played more games on a Sunday than any team has ever done before. Playing Thursday and then Sunday is not easy and it takes it's toll towards the end of the season when bodies get tired and we start picking up injuries, where fatigue is a factor.
Managing the squad is a new element to management that Mauricio Pochettino has not had to deal with before. Utilising players like Harry Kane, just starting to make his way in the game after his breakthrough season at the club last season, will be important as it enables players like Emmanuel Adebayor to have a rest.

For Kane any minutes on the pitch he wants to show the manager he should be getting more, scoring goals and creating them will only help him achieve his aim and it keeps the pressure on Roberto Soldado to perform. Feeling good he told Spurs TV he is looking forward to the seasons first home game.
A tough game it is likely to be and it's one Spurs should be looking to take three points from to maintain a positive start to the season. Kyle Naughton is suspended, the club having decided not to appeal the red card so presumably Eric Dier will remain at right-back.
Emmanuel Adebayor, Christian Eriksen, Younes Kaboul, Etienne Capoue and Aaron Lennon were all rested from the trip and are expected to return to the team for QPR, which kicks-off at 13:30 GMT.

"QPR is going to be another tough game, it'll be good to have a first Premier League game back at White Hart Lane and hopefully we can play well there and get the win there as well.
"They are going to be coming to White Hart Lane wanting to win like any team does. We have got to focus on the game Sunday now, get ready for that and put on a good show against a good team."
