With one unconfirmed report that we have signed Mateo Musacchio whixh two are going to leave (Dawson, Kaboul or Chiriches) becomes important. Virtually all fans have overlooked one very important point which I reveal.
Memphis Depay, the right choice looks a little more at the man and why hec ould be a good buy for Tottenham, not just because he has some skill, many players do.
It is essential during the remainder of this transfer window that we prepare for next summers transfer window then we can alleviate some of the problems we have every window, it just take a bit of forward planning.

Today in 2004 Tottenham signed Timothée Atouba, he played 18 Premier League games scoring one goal, lasting only a season with us by which time he had been reduced to a back up left-back role.
On this day we have played 5 games against foreign opposition.

Memphis Depay & Nacer Chadli
The Guardian - Mauricio Pochettino is pondering a £15m bid for PSV's Memphis Depay.
Belgian media - PSV have accepted a bid from Tottenham Hotspur for Memphis Depay with Chadli included.
The Mirror - Tottenham have reached an agreement for the transfer of Memphis Depay from PSV for £10million plus Nacer Chadli.
Marcel Brands (PSV technical manager) to De Telegraaf:
"We haven't heard anything from Spurs for Depay. We don't want to sell him."
@_OfficialAgent: World Exclusive: #Depay to #THFC is imminent. Confirmed. Lol
L'Avenir (Belgian news site) never confirmed a Depay-Chadli deal. Just wrote in a gossip section that he was 'rumoured' to be offered to PSV. No source.
And how many websites have you seen claiming a deal!
Spurs are currently offering Chadli around everywhere, clearly Mauricio Pochettino sees him as 'surplus to requirements' at Tottenham. He and Vlad Chiriches were two of the poorer buy last summer that the club is trying to get their money back on.
Safe to say, Memphis Depay would be an upgrade on Nacer Chadli if it comes off, but why would Chadli take a step down and move to PSV from the Premier League?. There is no way they can match the wages.
Swansea are trying to pull a fast one with FC Utrecht the victims. They had a 30% sell-on clause inserted when Vorm was sold to Swansea for £1.5 million. Swansea claim he was part of the Sigurdsson deal and therefore there is no sell-on.
One for the legal teams to wrangle over but it just demonstrates once again how big business likes to circumvent rules.
A local Valencia paper claim Spurs want to offload 29-year-old Spaniard Roberto Soldado and replace him with 25-year-old Ivorian Wilfried Bony. They suggest Soldado is being offered for loan or sale.
The story falls down for me when they say we are offering him for loan, there is absolutely no benefit to Tottenham to do that, it simply runs down a year of his contract and reduces any sell on fee, hardly a Daniel Levy tactic.
I'm not convinced he is adaptable enough fr Pochettino's system and has had very few scoring opportunities in 4 games, that is a concern. It's his job to score goals and he is rarely having a shot, everything else is a bonus. If you are not scoring goals and not looking like scoring it's an excuse.
The goal against Celtic will hopefully have done him a power of good and he will start to look dangerous instead of rather anonymous.
Iberian news outlet Fichajes are suggesting that Villarreal defender Mateo Musacchio will join Tottenham Hotspur by Friday. This story has been assumed in many places so I'm not attaching anything to it.
A deal is close despite all the crazy stories doing the rounds. He has a £39.70 million (€50m) buyout clause, so what. He isn't worth that and everyone knows it so suggestions that's the fee Villarreal want are pure invention.
Transfermarkt valuation £8.8 million (€11.08m), double that and we have a rough figure, which makes Morgan Schneiderlin a £14.96 million (€18.84m) player and not a £27 million (€34m) one.
I have seen on report that confirms Musacchio is a Tottenham player but I'd haven't been able to obtain any confirmation.

American ESPN TV analyst Taylor Twellman is claiming that Tottenham are very close to signing USMNT (US Mens National Team) right-back DeAndre Yedlin and loaning him back to Seattle Sounders until January.
This is a deal I have been suggesting we embark on since the World Cup. The US market is crucial for expansion, being the new market it is. Having American players raises the profile of the club and raises media interest.
He is a 21-year-old right-back who excelled at the World Cup having not played at international level until January. He wants to join a club who will give him game time which we can certainly do, otherwise he is happy to stay in America.
